Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Sponsors,

on behalf of LMHI Italy (FIAMO – Federazione Italiana Associazioni Medici Omeopati; LUIMO – Libera Università Internazionale di Medicina Omeopatica), we are very glad to welcome you at the 74^th LMHI Congress, to be held in Sorrento (Naples) from September 25 to September 28 2019.

 

The World Congress of Homeopathic Medicine will be back in our Country after 23 years.

Capri hosted the 51^st LMHI Congress (2-6 October 1996), and now it will be Sorrento: a true jewel embedded in the Gulf of Naples, famous worldwide for its balmy climate, Mediterranean scents, excellent cuisine and lovely landscape.

 

Sorrento represents a “symbolic pathway back to the origins”, to the historical roots of Homeopathy; Naples has been indeed the crib of Italian Homeopathy, and one of the main dissemination centers of Homeopathic culture in Europe and Worldwide. Solidity of the roots is the best guarantee of development for our discipline. It’s  not by chance that the main theme of the Congress (“The Medicine of the Future from the ancient heart!”) will be the ancient paradigm of Similarity, which inspired and linked most of the ancient medical systems, and still arouses curiosity of Physicians and Researchers. Still this methodology has been and still is subject to sharp prejudices and misrepresentations. In order to defend and promote our discipline, we thought to reconsider Similarity in a 360° view, considering modern Scientific and methods’ disclosures.

Internationally renowned Homeopaths, researchers and scientists will present and share their experiences. The Scientific Programme which our Committee has prepared and defined for this congress has an incredible and high value , and we are sure will stimulate your interest.

Among the International Key Speakers, particular notice should be expressed for:

• Professor Francesco E. Negro, President of the homonym Foundation and of the Museum of Homeopathy – Italian Historical Archives (Piazza Navona, 49, Rome). He will describe the key role of Italy, and Naples in particular, in the diffusion of Homeopathy throughout Europe;
• Physicist Fritjof Capra, which will honor us with a Lectio Magistralis and a special Focus on September 25 on the Role of Homeopathic Medicine as benchmark of the Systemic Medicine.

The Congress Venue will be the renowned Hilton Sorrento Palace (http://www.hiltonsorrentopalace.it/hotel/), offering an Auditorium for more than 1.500 participants; a great number of meeting rooms and a wide exhibition area for Sponsor companies.

 

On the occasion of the Welcome Reception (Sept. 24^th)  guests will hear a Concert devoted to the great Masters of Music who were cured by Homeopathy” (Chopin, Paganini, Beethoven, Schumann, Cole Porter, etc.).: an event not to be missed!

 

Participants will be also offered as complimentary gifts:

• The “Italian Homeopathic Bibliography” – prepared by Prof. Negro – which is the complete list of text and articles produced/written by Italian Homeopaths from 1820 to 1939
• A Commemorative Cover with a special Postmark that will be released by the Italian Post Office. Upon request the Postmark can be affixed either on the Italian Homeopathic Bibliography or on postcards, envelops, etc.

 

An intensive social programme will grant the possibility to visit special sites such as Amalfi, Positano, Capri, Pompei, etc. ; while a special visit in Rome will be organized at the end of the Congress in order to visit the Historical Museum of Homeopathy, located in Piazza Navona.
